I hope everyone is having a great start to the new year. This month I have been staffing a secondary school called the Community Development School (CDS). We have fifteen students from the US, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, and Switzerland. The focus of the school is to intercede for a community looking for God's intentions for his people. As missionaries at times, we can lose sight of the best way to help the poor and expand the kingdom of God. This school teaches how to best come alongside a community and build them up in the body of Christ. The goal of CDS is to be able to leave a community with the skills and understanding of gaining a biblical worldview and to use the resources that are around them. I believe personally that this school should be highly encouraged for missionaries. God loves the diversity of nations, cultures, and languages. He says so in Revelation. As children of God, we must not fail to recognize the plans of God for a community. When we come into a community with our own strength and ideas we fail. However, when we intercede for what God wants to do we succeed because we get the ultimate privilege to share the love of God. This school gets me excited for the implications of what God has in store for the students in the school. I am extremely grateful for the prayers and financial support that have been given to me, so I can share the knowledge and wisdom that God has shown me through the training that I have received. Blessings, hope to connect with all of you soon.
